Mission Statement
The purpose of the Vocational Advisory Council is to improve the employability of our students in a high tech society by providing a communication link between the school and its vocational community by providing an awareness of career opportunities which help students to see the practical applications of education and by recognizing and rewarding students for their efforts.
Information
The council consists of four committees that work together to meet the mission statement of the council. The committees are listed below:
Membership - seeks to find new members for the council
Public Relations - informs the community about the council
Scholarship and Endowment - seeks financial resources to assist in giving scholarships to deserving Altavista graduates
Career Awareness - provides students at Altavista Combined with information about future jobs
