All Seven Elementary School's Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade classrooms participated in the Read for the Record National Event.  Children and adults gathered to learn, laugh, and read this year's campaign book, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach, as part of the world’s largest shared reading experience.  More than 70 members of the greater Campbell County Community participated in this event.  They volunteered their time to visit a classroom, talk to children and read aloud to them.  CCPS would like to thank these individuals for their participation.  The images below are from the event held at Brookneal Elementary School, Tomahawk Elementary School, and Concord Elementary School.
