I Am Kallie Howard a 2015 Graduate of Campbell County Schools
I am a 2015 graduate of Brookville High School, and I attended Central Virginia Community College for a year and a semester. I haven't obtained my associates degree yet, but plan to go back in the near future to finish my degree. I am currently working for Campbell County Public Safety as a 911 Dispatcher, and have been since January 2017. I consider this job a blessing, as it has taught me a lot about myself, given me leadership opportunities, and provided me with more confidence in myself. My job keeps me on my toes; when the phone rings you never know what you're going to hear on the other end. I plan to stay at the Dispatch Center and make a career out of it, as I love serving my community and helping others. I have been volunteering with Lyn-Dan Heights Volunteer Fire Department for about 2 years now, and serve my community that way as much as possible.

While in high school, my horticulture class was the most influential to me. This class gave me so many opportunities. The teacher, Ms. Hansotte, was one of my favorites and still to this day I look up to her. While taking horticulture in high school, I was also involved in FFA and had the chance to serve as president. By having the chance to serve as president of FFA it gave me confidence in myself. It helped me get out of my comfort zone, and helped me develop better leadership abilities.
