Do you have a child who will be four years old before September 30, 2020? Campbell County Schools is continuing to take applications for our Pre-Kindergarten program. 
No computer? No internet? No problem! If you do not have a way of completing an online application, we're here to help. 
Please call 332-3458 x 614 or email your name and contact information to and somebody will be in touch to assist you with completing the online application.

Due to safety concerns, April 22, 2020, Pre-K Screening has been postponed. However, you can still have him/her considered for our program since admittance is based on the information we obtain through an online survey. Please follow the steps below to complete the online survey so that your child can be considered for a spot in one of our Pre-K classrooms for next year. As soon as it is safe to do so we will schedule a time to have you bring the required documents and have your child screened.

Thank you for your interest in Campbell County Schools Pre-K program! The Pre-K program is grant-funded through the Virginia Preschool Initiative. Children are selected to attend our program based on income eligibility and other risk factors determined by Campbell County Schools. 1. Verify which school your child will attend.

2.  Call your child's school if you have any questions.

3. Complete the Pre-K survey: Proof of income is required for this process.  To complete the survey, please have available all sources of income from each member of the household.

4. Be prepared for the following once you have an appointment scheduled( this will be announced at a later date)bring all pertinent documents:
At your scheduled time, please bring the following:
  • Your child
  • Parent/Guardian proof of residency(must bring two valid forms of evidence which includes your physical address)
  • Bring proof of income to verify information stated on the Pre-K Survey(W-2, tax forms, pay stub, SSI verification, SNAP verification, TANF verification, a written statement from employer, child support, Social Security Benefits/Unemployment/Other)
  • Your child's original birth certificate(hospital birth record is not accepted, photocopies are not accepted)
  • School entrance physical/immunizations form
  • Any Special Education, Legal, or Medical records that the school might need
